I suffer from Lupus Nephritis. I was officially diagnosed in 2009 and have been battling it since. I already have 20% kidney damage and am in Stage III/Stage IV putting me in the fatalist category. But I'm a fighter and I stay positive!! ❤️😊❤️😊❤️😊

darce_bijoux Thanks @m_montosa!! It's an uphill battle many days but optimism and laughter are my BFFs!! That and my Papi...he totes freaked out when he got the news about my kidneys and tried to stop taking his chemo meds so he could donate me a kidney (he for diagnosed with prostrate cancer at the same time I got diagnosed with kidney damage)...silly crazy man! ❤️❤️ but I am doing so much better! Still in an active flare but at least now I can function!

darce_bijoux Have to be! I'm a mom above everything And even though almost all the kids are out of the house but I still have a little one (she'll be 13 next month) and she needs her mom and I promised her that I would be there when she graduated high school and nothing is going to stop me! 😊😊😊

minablack @xoxochristia Hi! I also have a closet full of heels. I am hoping to wear them again! One day! :-) I am trying to be strong & brave! However, it's really hard sometimes to be. I am sad & depressed most of the time. When I found out I was diag. With Lupus and all the other diseases a lot of my friends are no longer my friends. At first most of them would make excuses in getting together and now they don't call anymore. There's more I can tell you! It's so depressing. Take care! A lot! Of prayer's & hug's go your way.

darce_bijoux @minablack the same thing happened to me...my BFF from childhood told me that she couldn't bear to see me suffer so it was easier to just distance herself from me instead. At least she was the only one who admitted it and luckily we worked through it. I went from being a social butterfly to being a homebody who rarely leaves her house. It's so tough to deal with all of this isn't if? It's hard to not be depressed but sometimes it does take over. I don't sleep much so that just adds to it. But my kids keep me going luckily and that makes up for a lot. I've always been a bit of a clown and goofy so that helps me stay strong and optimistic but the dark days do happen. I see if like this now...it's their loss bc I'm freaking amazing! Sick or not!

deenanelson Hi sweetie, I had no idea. I am also disabled but only with a broken back and Fibro myalgia so I feel for you. It's a daily battle to stay positive. I know selling here and on eBay really helps me feel better by doing something positive. I also do taxes a few moths out of the year and my office lets me schedule around my pain. And I love feeling like Santa when I get lots of obey back for people they didn't know about 🍃💖💕 well I hope your having one of the food days and keeps fighting. I try to keep fighting with a smile otherwise it really bites lol

darce_bijoux @deenanelson aww! I didn't know either! Yea the bad days suck so I relish the good ones! Hubs is taking me to homecoming tonight so I'll prolly pay for it tomorrow but oh well such is life! 😊😊 I'm naturally a clown so I make fun of myself a lot and crack jokes bc I can't let myself get too depressed I've got a 12 almost 13 yr old at home with issues of her own and she needs her mom above everyone else. So she helps keep my spirits up!
