2 Piece Set Vintage 1940s Lefton China Footed Wheat Pattern Sugar Bowl & Creamer

This 1940s Demitasse size sugar and creamer set by Lefton is quite elegant. The crisp white China is gilt with hand painted images of wheat sheaves. There is also gilding on the top edge handle and feet. The two pieces are in very nice condition for 1940s China. No chips, cracks, nicks or crazing. There are a couple of black specs in the Sugar Bowl and also a little black speck inside, under the rim of the Creamer. See my pictures pointing this out. Hand Wash. Sugar Bowl height 1 3/4" by 4 1/4" long by 3 inches wide. Creamers 2 3/8 by 4 1/4" long 3 inches wide. Made in USA/Japan. Marked on the bottom of each piece Lefton China hand painted.
