2 Handmade, Unique, Blue and White Ceramic Coasters with Butterfly Design

I am a ceramic artist and created these handmade coasters, spoon rests, made from porcelain clay..The bottom has little rubber feet so they don’t slip. Great stocking stuffers. No two are a like. Perfect for the nature lover. (The one on the left does have a little wobble). Hot beverages, wet iced glass beverage, no problem….protect your table in style. For people interested in the process, here it is. Clay is wedged to remove air bubbles, the shapes are cut from a slab I’ve rolled out. That has to be dried and fired in the kiln. Once that is done, I apply a transfer or hand paint something from scratch. Either way, I paint something on each piece to add to the uniqueness. Then it gets fired again after I apply a clear glaze coat. Once done I clean edges and apply the rubber feet. Lots of steps to produce one piece.
