evakinnaird80 @nick_mccort spot per gram is at 0.72 cents today, but spot price is what the suppliers pay to have it mined. it can't be bought at spot (or extremely rare to find it at spot). companies and other resellers have to make some profit. Specialty bars like set bars and Valcambi are of fine quality and great for collecting.

kimsikorski @evakinnaird80 but really, $35 for 1 gram? a one ounce Valcambi bar is going for under $50 retail right now on jmbullion.com I understand markup but I also understand crazy high prices.
