1999 Arctic Fox First Day of Issue Stamp Set 9”x12” Barrow Alaska Ready to Frame

Beautiful Arctic Fox stamp with a first day of issue postmark. Features a serene Arctic scene. * USPS first day cover (FDC) of the Arctic Animals Arctic Fox 33c Stamp, issued March 12, 1999, Barrow, Alaska. * This FDC is ready to frame: it is in a 9 inch by 12 inch white mat with navy blue detailing. * Within the mat is a small plaque describing the arctic fox and the first-day issue of the stamp. (See photo of plaque.) * The mat has unique details including a paw print in one corner. * The exterior dimensions of the mat are 9 inches by 12 inches. * The back of the item is blank. * This item is in a sealed plastic sleeve, and was stored in second plastic bag. I did not remove the interior plastic sleeve to take photos. Some dust on the sleeve may show in the photos. * This item belonged to a family member who purchased it while living in Alaska. It has been in storage for about the last 25 years. It does not appear to have ever been removed from the interior plastic or displayed. As mentioned above, there is dust on the plastic packaging.
