1990s WILBERT BENALLY Sterling Silver 6-Row Cuff Bracelet Carved Lapis Flower

This is a sterling silver cuff bracelet that combines two distinct styles. Created by Navajo artist Wilbert Benally, the spread-wire cuff features decorative stampings on each end. The centerpiece, which appears to have been added at a later time, is a carved lapis lazuli flower with a prong-set aquamarine-colored stone at its heart, prong set to a sterling silver frame soldered to the bracelet’s center. The bracelet is stamped Sterling W B on the back of one side at the top of the solid band. Condition Note: please be aware that because the lapis flower is prong and not bezel set, it does move slightly in the setting and makes noise when the bracelet is gently shook.
