1990 Frank Miller & Geof Darrow…Hard Boiled #1

He knows exactly who he is and what his job is and why he's killing people- none of it's true, but he knows that, too! Hard Boiled is reality through the eyes of a psychotic cyborg. I remember when this came out. I had to take a bus two towns over because my local comic shop wouldn't sell it. Hard Boiled is one of my secret pleasures and one of the titles Miller did while he was still on top of his game. The first two came out quickly and then it was what, a year or two before the third, which is why Nixon says "Sorry I'm late" on the third cover. Geof Darrow is just completely off the chain with his art. Whatever he got for drawing this should have been tripled, because he's amazing with the detail that he works into every panel. This comic is in great condition. Comes to you in a protective sleeve.
