Tile trivet by artist Cleo Teissedre (1930-2020). She is known for Navajo storyteller potter dolls, watercolor painting, photography, and tiles. This is a nice tile picturing three Navajo women showing the artwork of their blankets with adobe houses in the background. The tile is framed in oak wood. May used as a trivet or decorative wall hanging.
Condition: good vintage condition with no cracks or chips in the tile. There is fading in the wood stain and minimal corner wear on the back of the wood frame.
There was some sticker residue on the back of the frame that I used some Goo Gone on and it caused an oil stain (Please see photo).
Approx. Measurements:
Length - 7" (tile only is 6")
Width - 7" (tile only is 6")
Depth - .75"
