Rare porcelain plate signed by numerous well-known collector-plate artists at the Plate Convention held February 26–27, 1983. Features dozens of authentic signatures and artist doodles, including stylized drawings of a train, pig, and heart motif. A unique artifact from the peak era of limited-edition collector plates, representing many of the artists who created popular 1980s series for major porcelain houses. The plate measures approximately 10.25" across and has a gold-trimmed rim. A one-of-a-kind convention-signed piece ideal for collector-plate enthusiasts, art historians, or anyone interested in the history of 1980s plate artists. Signatures represented include: Thaddeus Krumeich, Lynn Lupetti, P Buckley Moss, Jessica Zemsky, Irene Spencer, Mimi Jungbluth, Jack Hines, Lowell Davis, Dom Mingolla, Mary Vickers, Roger C. Hollar, Cynthia Knapston, Gada Norbert, and more. One of the signatures is personalized "To Ann" so it appears this was a plate that she had signed by probably going around to the tables of the various artists.
No chips or cracks noted. A few of the signatures have some minor fading. The only signature / doodle that is partially erased is the purple text in the upper left corner surrounding the "Thaddeus Krumeich" signature. Not sure if this was a separate signature or part of the Krumeich signature. See pictures for further details on condition.
