1980’s vintage two piece suit tuxedo jacket and pleated skirt by Michelle Stuart

Classic 80s Michelle Stewart Petit Size 4 Dry, clean only I did not dry cleaning these and they are wrinkled. I would get them pressed and dry cleaned. The jacket is very 80s mod with large front square pockets, exaggerated shoulder pads for a square shoulder and a skinny lapel very androgynous style blazer indicative of 80s new wave style The chest is about 36 inches There’s no closure people used to wear these open with just a bra showing underneath The arm is 13 inches from pit to cuff Shoulder to shoulder is 15 1/2 inches and total length is about 28 inches Really sorry for the wrinkles. It’s just 100° where I live and it’s too hot to use the iron. The top is a size 4, but the matching skirt says size 12 They’re definitely a set in the same fabric. I believe it’s silk. There’s no fabric tag to me. This is obviously a heavy silk fo suiting The waist is 29 inches with no stretch It has a button and zipper closure Wide front plates and darts on the back Total length is 24 inches Prices for both pieces
