Authentic Louis Vuitton checkbook style wallet from 1980 or ‘81 in used and vintage condition. This piece is around 43 years old. Manage expectations appropriately. This is the checkbook style wallet from the 80’s. It’s thin and lightweight. A passport fits inside and that’s what people use these for today, mainly. In the early 80’s, LV used this sleek chocolate brown leather linings on some pieces. It’s personally my favorite kind to collect. It’s sleek, soft and smooth. There is damage on the corners. There is a lot of scuffs and dings on the chocolate interior leather. See all pics. The linings kind of feel like a fabric material. They have a lot of wear but are not dirty to the touch. There are 2 credit card pockets, and 3 other separate slip pockets. This makes a good travel documents holder as well. LV started putting date codes in, in 1982. I can only find the heat stamp (see pic), and so my best guess is that this is from 1980 or 81. Offers considered.
