1970s Whiting and Davis mesh clutch

Always in vogue, this is a Whiting and Davis off-white enamel mesh purse with removable shoulder strap and magnetic closure. My best guess would be to place this in the 1970s, however it could be later. (I welcome the expertise of a collector) This sweet little vintage purse can be purchased at a bargain price here due to loss of enamel on a few the mesh pieces. Otherwise, this purse still has all the sparkle of the old the Hollywood Glamour.
