1970’s Gucci Sherry Line Horsebit Shoulder Bag

Pre-loved rare vintage Gucci Sherry Line Horsebit shoulder bag from the 1970’s. Approximately 10"W x 8” H x 2"D. Red and green shoulder strap has a 15” drop. The strap is not adjustable or removable. Gold toned horsebit hardware on each side of the bag is in good condition, no tarnish. Outer GG Supreme Canvas (fabric) shows wear. One stain on the top. The corners are good, no damage, some light rubbing. It feels vintage, like crunchy in areas. It has a structured feel to it. The zippered top doesn’t want to lay flat. The interior is clean. During the 1960’s, some Gucci bags had serial numbers while others did not. In the 1970’, Gucci bags no longer had serial numbers, sporting the Gucci script in cursive lettering. In the late 1970’s to early 1980’s, Gucci reintroduced the use of serial numbers in their Gucci accessory collection.
