1970s Glamorous Royal Blue Iris Quilted Robe/ Housecoat or Evening Coat size medium. Made by Hong Kong tailors for Nordstrom Lingerie. NOS Lightweight polyester with polyester fiberfill so it is lightweight and warm - very cozy and easy to wear. The elaborate quilted pattern is beautifully designed and strategically placed on the garment to flatter the wearers figure. It represents blue Iris flowers and their frond-like leaves that would be found in a Japanese garden or one of Monet’s garden paintings. It is skillfully executed by expert Hong Kong tailors Style Features: Robe buttons down the front with 6 covered buttons, Belt is set into the back at waistline, then has long self fabric top stitched ties extending from side seams that you use to cinch in the waist. They are long enough to make an ample bow. Shawl collar with scalloped edges is especially lovely! Pockets in both side seams.
