1970s Embossed Reproduction Wheaton Amethyst Glass Bottle

The image shows a vintage reproduction Frank's Safe Kidney & Liver Cure bottle.  This purple glass bottle is a reproduction, from the 1970s, manufactured by Wheaton.  The original patent medicine was introduced in 1879 by H. H. Warner in Rochester, New York.  The embossed "safe" on the bottle referenced Warner's previous business (fire- and burglar-proof safes) and alluded to the product's perceived safety.  Original bottles were typically amber glass, while reproductions came in various colors like purple, green, and yellow.  9" tall
