Features a Beautiful Brass Image of Chief Joseph of the Nez Perces Indian Tribe. This quote : "Hear me, my Chiefs! I am tired. My heart is sick and sad. From where the sun now stands, I will fight no more forever." 1877 from the End of Trail. The main figure embodies the suffering and exhaustion of people driven from their native lands.
On the 100 year Anniversary this buckle was produced in 1977
