Amazing retro vintage Mid Century Modern tea set from the 60s era. 3D harvest fruit design by Ardco. Japan sculpted fruit. Numbers on the bottom. Includes: Tea Pot with lid Sugar Bowl with Lid, Creamer, 4 mugs Ardco Fine Quality Dallas Harvest Fruit Design 9pc Coffee or Tea Set The creamers handle has been repaired. There is a spot where the glaze is missing. One rough spot on one mug. Everything else is pristine. This is a charming vintage ceramic tea or coffee set, decorated in a very distinctive mid-20th century fruit motif style. Material: Glazed ceramic / pottery. Design: Molded with raised fruit decorations (bananas, apples, grapes, pears, etc.), very colorful with yellow, green, and red glazes. The bold fruit and flower motifs, along with the thick glaze and slightly whimsical forms, suggest it was made during the 1950s–1970s . Many similar sets were produced in Japan after WWII for export, often marked “Made in Japan” or “Japan” on the base.
