Excellent/Like New Condition. Neil Young 'After the Gold Rush' CD with iconic cover art. A must-have for music lovers.
The album was originally released in September 1970.
Tracklist: The tracklist includes 11 songs: "Tell Me Why", "After the Gold Rush", "Only Love Can Break Your Heart", "Southern Man", "Till the Morning Comes", "Oh, Lonesome Me", "Don't Let It Bring You Down", "Birds", "When You Dance I Can Really Love", "I Believe In You", and "Cripple Creek Ferry".
The album primarily features country folk music with several rock tracks, including the well-known song "Southern Man".
The album cover features a solarized image of Neil Young walking past an elderly woman in Greenwich Village, New York City. The photo was taken by Joel Bernstein and was reportedly out of focus, leading to the solarization effect. The original photograph also included Graham Nash, but he was edited out of the album cover image.
While the album initially received mixed reviews, it has since appeared on numerous greatest albums of all time lists and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2014.
