1966 - Socrates to Sartre - A History of Philosophy - old Library Text Book

Beautiful old cloth bound text book from the Fort Write College Library in Spokane Washington. Ready to be read, displayed, or gifted to a lover of philosophy. Title: Socrates to Sartre A History of Philosophy Author: Samuel Enoch Stumpf Printed: 1966 Condition: Good vintage condition with staining on the cover and a little foxing on a couple inside pages. Interesting error that just screams the quality put into a produced-for-students-textbook is the lettering from the plate was slightly off in the table of contents so it looks like blurred text (see 8th photo for details). Second hypothesis is that it is infinitely being ever so gently shaken by a 4th dimensional being just for laughs as we try to squint at the 2D text. There is also an abundance of "Fort Write College Library" stamps in several places in this wonderful MCM-60s-era type face, and on the title page there are some more recent blue highlighter markings. Just a tad bit of wear on the cover's corners.
