Original 1962 World Book Encyclopedia salesman’s sample binder. Produced by Field Enterprises Educational Corporation, this promotional kit was used by door-to-door salesmen to market the World Book Encyclopedia. This green hardcover binder contains a variety of sample pages including full-color maps, educational illustrations, product advertisements, and promotional material like “Ten Points for the Educated Man” and pricing for the 1962 summer bundle plan. Also includes features on Abraham Lincoln, educational philosophy, and animal illustrations. Measures approximately 10.25" x 8.5". A fascinating piece of mid-century educational sales history.
Binder has moderate wear to covers and some edge rubbing. Interior pages are complete and in good vintage condition, with some age-related toning and light handling wear. Overall well-preserved for a 1960s-era sales kit. There is one page that is only connected to one of the binder rings. See pictures for further details on condition.
