1960s US "Indian Land Magazine" by the New Mexico Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial (an Agency of the State of New Mexico), Gallup , New Mexico. Front cover original artwork by Beatien Yazz. The inside of the magazine includes text, photographs, maps and illustrations in black & white. This informational government produced brochure booklet includes a brief calendar of Indian events for Arizona, New Mexico and Utah, as well as general maps to areas in Indian Land, the history of the Ceremonial, information about Indian Arts & Crafts (including rug making, pottery and jewelry), Southwest scenery and a listing of the Indian Tribes in the Indian Land area. There is a short description of the Pueblo, Navajo, Apache and other Native American Indian peoples. In the back of the booklet there is a pink insert including a multi-page Indian Land Tourist Business Directory. On the back cover of the booklet there is a stunning photograph of Native American Indian women working on creating a beautiful original rug (with a young child in a papoose) and a place to indicate the TO and FROM addresses, as well as a '10 cent Stamp Here' box so that the piece can be mailed to your friends and family.
