1960s Sault Sainte Marie Michigan Souvenir Mini Wooden Cedar Jewelry Box AS IS

This is a fixer-upper. From the 1960s. This would be an awesome craft project. I think the issue is the hinges need some work. It is causing the box not to completely close. It is stamped Sault Sainte Marie Michigan. The inside bottom is covered with very worn green felt. As part of your craft project I would recommend replacing. The precious little box is covered on the top With a print of a girl in a flower adorned bonnet holding butterflies. It also has the name of the artist: A Gruerio. The print shows “crackles“ which, at the time it was manufactured, was to give it an antique look. It still isn’t a little antique, but 60 some years old. Measurements are in photos and it’s approximately 2 inches high. There’s a minimum three dollar commission to posh, so my price is at the bargain basement level.
