Basketweave design and ridged edges.
Beautiful Iridescent glaze and gold glitter-- just glowing with amber, gold, pink and purple tones.

Like a bowl of sun, it warms.
Excellent shape.

Just realized your in nc to. Awesomeness. I do have a question, my grandmother was given a set that had a pitcher and tall glasses with like roses I think ok them. They looked like a combo of this marigold color and the other vintage pink things I’ve seen in your closet. Got married in 52 in Moore county nc. Any ideas how to even look them up

@momof3bouys Wow--you're a wonderful person having a rich life. I don't know much about the pitcher and glasses you're describing but they sound gorgeous. I believe this style or hue is generally called Carnival Glass, known for a rainbow-like finish, but there are so many variations. Most of what I have I had to learn about. (I can't say anyone left me anything. That would be so nice. )It's fun to find out sometimes.

@23rd_n_vine I found several marigold carnival glasses and a few looked almost the same however the rim at the top of
Mine was straight around all I can find is I guess you say ruffled? My sisters pushed my mom and me out of daddy’s house when he passed away and I literally have nothing. All my childhood things and things he built no money can ever replace but they will never take my memories and things he taught me when they were always to busy. I have to hold on to that.

@momof3bouys Hey there! I'm just noticing your last message! It's been a tough winter for us all. I hope you're well. The bowl I have has ridges on top rather than being smooth, and that's why I call it ruffled. Don't let anybody take those memories or tarnish the love and gratitude you seem to have for your beloved family. I hope you're well and safe. Take care. --Patricia
