1960's Christian Dior "chapeaux" velvet turban hat

1960's Christian Dior "chapeaux" velvet turban. Extremely rare style and color. Price reflects condition. One size fits most. Reasonable offers considered. In 20 years of vintage buying (and researching), I have never seen such an electric, blazing shade of blue! Made of high grade velvet, fully lined. Items with this style of label were manufactured in the late 1960's in London and Paris. Since the label reads "Paris-New York" I would assume this gem was created in Paris (correct me if I'm wrong, fashion historians!). Detailed photos show some of the pleat stitching should be tightened to keep the shape. The tag shows some slight discoloration. The liner and velvet fabric is rich, thick, and in immaculate condition.
