1960s AO SMITH Blue Harvestore Silo Salt & Pepper Shakers *Rare*

If you grew up in the Midwest or the Heartland, as they call it, like I did--the sight of the big Blue Harvestore silos dotting the countryside was common, yet always kind of awe inspiring. Farmers loved to display their towering bright blue grain silos and we loved seeing them. These salt and pepper shakers are a throwback to those memories and were made in the 1960s, possibly mid to late 1950s. They are in nearly perfect condition...I say nearly only because they are not new (of course) so perfect is not a qualifier. But I found no chips, cracks, flea bites or damage of any kind. The red plastic plugs are intact in the bottom. They look to have been for display only and never used. Rare and hard-to-find, ready for a new home whether on the table or in a cabinet.
