1959 Thoughts for a Good Life Daily Quote Book A lovely daily motivational quote book from 1959 The Peter Pauper Press. Decorated by Ruth McCrea. 1st edition. This was originally a gift to a rather opinionated lady that wrote little notes next to some of the quotes with her thoughts on them. She made it to the end of March before giving up on the book and presumably giving it back to the gifter as there is a note on that page about how she can make it no longer into the book and why! Always gives me a chuckle when I read it. Personally, I enjoy much of the old bits of wisdom it has to offer. A nice bedside read, for when you first wake. Has a bit of wear on the cover but binding is good and the cover is so pretty.
