1950s Wood Chef Salt and Pepper Shakers Sets-2 Japan

This is a lot of 2 sets of vintage 1950s "Salty and Peppy" hand-painted wooden salt and pepper shaker set.  The figures are made of solid wood and hand-painted.  The set was often distributed by the company Woodpecker and made in Japan.  They feature a red-hatted figure ("Peppy") and a white-hatted figure ("Salty").  The shakers are approximately 2.5 inches tall.  Both sets have both stoppers and both salts have original labels. Some paint loss as seen in photos.
