Made in the 1950s, these dangle cluster clip earrings are made of rare old Bohemian tortoise glass. This is not a very common type of old glass and the earrings took a great deal of time to make.
Look at the beads and you can see each one is strung on a brass head pin, looped at both ends, and attached to the next bead by hand. There are 9 strands of round glass beads on each earring that are 6 mm and 8 mm. These earrings are not signed but I can tell you with 100% certainty they were made in West Germany based on the style of the brass clips and the brass findings that hold the beads.
Medium in size, the earrings are not heavy to wear and are 1 3/4" or 44 mm long. The pair is in pristine clean condition with no imperfections or flaws. All of the beads are perfect with no cracks or chips. The brass head pins have a aged patina but there is no verdigris or oxidation. The clips are like new and in proper tight working order.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new luxury presentation earring box.
Comes with a free new pair of white soft silicon ear cushions for your wearing comfort.
