1950s Vintage I. Magnin Chanel?? Girls Red, white and blue knit button front Swe

This is an unbelievable find! Just the kind of thing my mother would have dressed me in for a trip to the “city“ as we called San Francisco. The makers tag is removed, but I hesitatingly say this could be a Chanel. It is the style and certainly the time period in which they were making children’s clothing. If you’re not familiar with the name, I. Magnin was a very high-end department store in the bay area starting in the late 1800s . They went out of business in 1994. This coat is in perfect condition. Other than no makers tag no holes. It feels like a wool blend sort of a Santana knit just adorable! a piece of history.
