1950s University of Pennsylvania Crew Ivy League Letterman Sweater PEARSON wool

This 1950s era vintage wool letterman sweater by Pearson Sports for The University of Pennsylvania (Penn Quakers) is a rare and amazing find. Made and tagged from Pearson sporting goods in Philadelphia. It’s a warm wool, well-crafted sweater with only one “flaw” on the back, a spot in the knitting that’s opening a bit but quite what I’d call a hole. Marked size 46. Pit to pit= 20.5” Overall length= 25” Sleeves= 21.75”
