1950s Tyrolean Tortoise Striped Lucite Decorative Metal Encased Box Style Purse

Vintage 1950’s lucite tortoise striped box style purse encased in decorative metal. Marked “Tyrolean NY”. There are 2 heights, 3” and 4”, due to the elevated lid opening. Length is 7.5” and width is 4”. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or scratches. Very slight surface markings too faint to pick up in photos. Metal has held its overall gold/brass color and still reflects light beautifully. An iconic reminder and representation of the mid-century 1950’s glamour era. Inquiries welcomed.
