Bright late 1940s - early 1950s mid-century artwork featuring the classic smiling Scripto model with a bundle of Scripto Black Leads and the original 10¢ price graphic. Printed in the U.S.A. on lithographed cardboard. This piece shows expected age wear from store use: corner softening, some edge wear, a surface stain lower left, and a missing easel back, but the display area remains bold with strong color and clean graphics. Great survivor for pencil, office supply, and mid-century advertising collectors.
Scripto was one of the biggest names in American pen and pencil manufacturing, best known for their mechanical pencils and refill leads.
