1950s Samsonite round suitcase hat box train case Style 4620

Beautiful piece of 50s Samsonite luggage! The style number is 4620 and the manufacturer was Shwayder Bros. Inc. (Samsonite's original name). This round faux leather case is a caramel color, with a sage green interior fabric lining. It has a sturdy rubber handle, two brass lifting clasps and four brass feet on the bottom. The edges are protected from wear with rubber as well. The interior is lined with a beautiful faille fabric - could be silk. It has a gorgeous sheen. There are five elasticized pockets and one large pocket on the lid. Two grosgrain ribbons keep your clothing in place. It is in good condition, especially for the age. Please see video for condition.
