1950s Raspberry Ribbon Dress

This dress is an incredibly unique piece that is a beautiful example of peak midcentury style. A truly special dress that can be worn to make a splash. Can also be worn with a crinoline underneath the skirt for the true Dior 'new look' ;) This fit and flare 1950's piece is crafted with deep raspberry ribbon and beige threading throughout. It has a side zipper closure. Keep in mind, considering the pieces' age, it should be handled with care as the ribbon work is all connected. If one of the ribbons come undone, it can be re-tied back into the weave work and can easily blend into the rest of the piece. That being said, this dress is in great vintage condition and can be worn with care. The only notable flaw can be seen in the 6th photo, where there is a slight pull in the gathers on the ribbon on the back of the dress. There is no size marked on this piece, but the measurements are equivalent to about a US size 2. The measurements are as follows: Bust: 32" Waist: 26" Hips: free Skirt length (waist to hem): 30"
