Advertising colour lithograph for the classic Orange Creamsicle “50-50” Popsicle by Joe Lowe Corporation, New York.
This vintage 1957-1965 Popsicle advertising lithograph is printed on a thin paper stock, suggesting it might have been designed to be backlit
Dating the lithograph-The 50-50 was trademarked in 1957. In 1965, Popsicle Industries was sold to Consolidated Foods Corporation, cell this particular advertising lithograph could only have been produced between 1957 and 1965.
This color lithograph sign features a boy in a striped shirt enjoying a popsicle alongside streamers and a bright orange vanilla Popsicle illustration.
Measures approx. 12” x 5”, printed “LITHO IN U.S.A.” with code 10-R350-50. Marked with T.M. Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. near the logo.
The items I sell are vintage. They will have signs of wear. Please carefully examine photos.
All items sold are vintage finds sourced from estate sales and thrift stores in the Hollywood area of Southern California.
I do my best to catalog any flaws I find in the description of the item.
😻😻
Your purchase helps me continue to fund my artistic work as a photographer in Hollywood California.
It also helps me to feed my increasingly finicky cat who now only wants the most expensive cat food 😻😻
