1950s Pendleton Robe In A Bag Designer Throw Blanket 72 x 54" Red and Black Wool Plaid Fringed edges There is 1 hole in the blanket. See pictures for size. it is near the labels on the blanket. This was a designer collab with Pendleton PRE 1957 Roos Bros was a department store that merged with Robert Atkins in 1957 This blanket has a tag that specifically states "Roos Bros" I have added 2 advertisements from that time period that show this item. I contacted Pendleton directly and they sent me the advertisements as well as this information: ********* "We did some exclusive merchandise for Roos Brothers (Bros) in the 1950s. They were a San Francisco-based clothing store. We think we probably made some exclusive Motor Robes in a bag for them to coordinate with whatever exclusive clothing they were selling." ********* This is a very rare item. I did extensive searching and didn't find anything like this. I did find one blanket, different color and no bag that sold more than 10 years ago. Consider this a very special purchase.
