1950's Navy Fascinator Cap

Well-preserved, this fascinator cap was a style popular in the mid-1950s. Unlike 1990s fascinators, these caps were worn centered on the top of the head. This navy blue number has some minor damages from repeated pinning (see pictures). The woven top is edged with blue velvet. The back has a beautiful purple velvet blow detail that's well-complimented by the removable veil and velvet-topped hat pin.
