1950's Black Curly Persian lambswool Fur Stole / Dressy Wrap, Mid century style

Fashionably sustainable, this vintage black curly Persian Lambswool fur stole is a beautiful way to express your unique style and recycle a true treasure from the past. Between the shaped panels of lambswool there are narrow black velvet strips. This stole is a "One Size Fits Most" shoulder wrap, with a design straight from the 1950's. There is no label on this stole, although it does appear to be genuine fur, however I am certainly no expert. The woman whose moving sale I bought it from told me it was Persian Lamb. This is the style called a stole and was meant to be worn over the shoulder with a slight wrap or fold over in the front. There are no sleeves, although there is a built-in shape defined by panels as part of the design, which makes it drape and hang to fit nicely on your shoulders. In the front there are 2 small braided hanging buttons, which seem to be there as decoration only. As shown in the photo where the stole is flat, the collar is sewn so that it will sit well at your neckline. In the photo showing the back view I have lifted the collar so you can see how wide it is and that it is lined with the same shiny black fabric used inside the stole. As shown in the photo where it is flat, it is fully lined in a shiny black fabric. In that photo you can see how the stole is shaped so it hangs so nicely. There are slide-in pockets at the ends of each long side. It is in Excellent Vintage Condition, with no issues at all to report. Please ask any questions.
