1950 Cornhuskers Boy's State West Point Hat Cap Lincoln Nebraska American Legion

Vintage Hat with Pinback I found this piece, interesting. One, it has a 1950's or 1960's pinback. I come to that date due to the paperwork that was found with it. You be the judge on the date for the pin. It is from the American Legion, Cornhuskers Boy's State, Lincoln Nebraska. The name Floyd Price 217 West Point. At first I thought West Point as in military but I didn't realize that there was a West Point Nebraska. But when I searched the 217 post for the American Legion is in WI. So I don't know.... Just don't tell the other half that I don't know something. I don't want to disappoint. What I do know is the hat is made of fabric in navy / dark blue with gold trim. The pin is about 2.25" across. Overall good condition for the pin. Light wear. Has Floyd's paper label. The hat needs some cleaning. It is dusty from years of storage and wear., doubt it was ever washed. I've not tried to clean or alter it. Any questions just ask! Ships in an envelope
