Hand-colored 1947 studio portrait of a rodeo queen from Paul's Valley, OK. Framed in its original wood frame with ornate floral gesso overlay - a classic example of 1940s decorative work. Stamped 𝑀𝑜𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑛 𝐴𝑟𝑡 𝐶𝑜., 𝑃𝑎𝑢𝑙𝑠 𝑉𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑦, 𝑂𝐾 on the back. 📏 Frame: 23" x 18" ⚖️ 5 lbs 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Original wire hanger intact. Backing paper torn and partially detached. Scuffs reveal white gesso beneath painted finish which is typical of vintage construction. Light internal haze. Frame shows wear but presents beautifully. Sold as-is for true collectors.
