1941 The Pigeon First Edition Book Signed Wendell Mitchell Levi

First edition 1941, "The Pigeon," written by Wendell Mitchell Levi and signed by him as well. There is an inscription from the previous owner on the inside of the front cover. Wendell's signature is on the first free end paper. The front cover hinge is split after the second free end paper. Pages 279-282 are not completely attached and they want to fall out. (you can see the frayed edges sticking out of the text block) There is also a little bit of staining on those few pages around page 279 (278-286). The last page of the index, page 511, is also about to fall out. there was a dust jacket issued with this book but this one is missing it.
