1940s/50s vintage wedding dress in silk faille with cathedral train and back but

This stunning, elegant and timeless wedding gown is made of a lovely and high end silk faille fabric. It's a candlelight color and has a gorgeous sheen in the light. The dramatic cathedral train is the star - it measures 116" from waist to hem! The The bodice features 3/4 length dolman sleeves that are pointed and have small covered buttons to the elbow. The construction of the bodice features gores that resolve to points at the waist, from which the wide skirt hangs beautifully. There is a V at the neckline that is reinforced. The back features an attractive V cut from the shoulders and closes with tiny covered buttons and loops. There is also a side zipper. It is unlined and was custom made. There is a pellum strip in the front of the skirt above the hem to give it structure. There are two plastic rings attached to the end of the train which would be used to attach it to the waist after the ceremony. I did not find any hooks so they would have to be added should you want to utilize them. The dress is in very good condition. It is really spectacular!
