1940s Vintage Whiting & Davis Alumesh Handbag, Bakelite Handle Aluminum beaded

This is very cool. Great condition and sooo chic! Condition: - The inside is pristine, I think it was rarely used. - One link is broken but it could easily be glued and not noticeable nor impact the function or beauty. See last photo. - I do not see any loose or missing beads - there are some strings that need to be retied inside along the top. See last photo Off white beads with aluminum mesh. There is even a receipt from the Willard Hotel valet inside. How cool is that? About 14” tall including handle and 9” wide.
