1940s Vintage Sparrow Bird Novelty Drape Skirt Swing Dress Cold Rayon WW2 Frock

1940s Vintage Novelty Dress with love birds and sparrows fluttering about pink posies blossoms or fuzzy pincushions. Skirt is a faux wrap skirt with a front drop to facade as a wrap. The drape is gathered by subtle pleats at the top left hip that are let out for the drape to fall beautifully in a cascade-like effect. Also at the Left waist line is a matching fabric string of bows and flowerettes that have a subtle but glamorous rhinestone at the center of each flowerette. Extremely unique and extremely elegant! Tag says: A Minx Modes Junior Fabric: Vintage Cold Rayon Closure: 6 Fabric Matching Buttons and Loops (all in tact, in great shape, and accounted for) Closure: Side metal zipper on the left side that says Talon. Size is probably a modern X-Small but please consider measurements for more approximate fit: Bust: 34"-38" (38" is at max stretch and capacity) Waist: 25.75" at max stretch and capacity Hip: 36"-38" (38" at max stretch and capacity) Bodice Length: 15.25" Dress Length: 42.5"-43" Neck Hole Opening: about 16" in diameter. I cannot find an major/minornflaws. Comes from a smoke free and pet free environment. No funny smells.
