1940s Vintage Lucite Handle Umbrella Rainbow Plaid Acetate Cover

This darling lucite-handled umbrella deserves to be held by Debbie Reynolds as she dances with Gene Kelly in "Singin' in the Rain." Its rainbow plaid cover is even better in person than it is in photos--it really can cheer you up on a rainy day. The handle is your classic curved style in pristine clear lucite. The frame of this umbrella is in excellent shape. It does have a few flaws: the top knob has been taped, and there are some pinholes in the cover that can be patched or sewn (see photos).
