1940s H. Pomerantz Huge Epic Silver Tone Modernist Brooch MCM Biomorphic Bow

Vintage H. Pomerantz Huge Epic Silver Tone Modernist Brooch | Mid Century Biomorphic Bow Design Signed This is a gorgeous vintage H. Pomerantz NY signed brooch. It appears to be a precursor to the "platinelle" faux silver and likely dates to the 40s. He was known to utilize a lot of different materials creatively and this is no exception. The front of the piece has a high shine and the back has a dull brushed texture. Such a unique find! This piece came from a fabulous and extensive jewelry collection in a Hollywood estate. Measurements: 3 1/2" H x 3 1/8" W x 3/4" D 42g Condition: Good vintage condition with various minor scratches (seen with the loupe) throughout. Clasp is in good working order. Normal wear for age.
