1940s Ephemora Old Photos Scrap Book Georgia War Soldiers Troops Historical Data and information about soldiers after the war in the US state of Georgia. To me it looks like either a photographer or Journalist kept a scrap book after WW2 of soldiers recovering in a hospital in GA where soldiers recovered and went through some sort of rehab and watched films. Also there is a letter from a mother about her missing son. A few names are there but cant tell exactly what it is all about. Looks like some original photos of soldiers walking up what looks to me like possibly Stone Mountain. Some official papers naming a General and a news booklet showing some of the original photos were published there. This was found in garage of a family member's estate. In process of counting how many photos are there and the album is falling apart at this point, photos not in best condition either. Some newspaper clippings give clues to what someone else may find interesting. Lawson General Hospital is mentioned and I see 1943 date here and there.
