1940's Bugbee & Niles Gold Tone Atomic Starburst Floral Shell Petal Necklace

Vintage 1940's Bugbee & Niles Gold Tone Rhinestone Atomic Starburst Floral Shell Petal Choker Necklace This necklace was a part of a Demi-parure which included matching earrings. The earrings in these sets carried Bugbee & Niles 'B.N.' Mark while the necklace didn't- which is why this is an unmarked piece. This listing is for the pictured *necklace only* but you can find matching earrings, and there's actually multiple styles of screw back earrings you can hunt for, to choose from that will match this necklace beautifully. There's a lot of unmatched historical info floating around about Bugbee & Niles but it's commonly known that the company ceased operations in 1943 (later re-established until 2009) which is why I believe this is a 1940's piece and not actually a 50's piece as often assumed. 🌸Shell shaped petals with a satin finish. Prong set glass crystal rhinestones [round and tear drop shaped] (white, light blue, darker blue, pink-center) petals create a flower at center with dimensional pistils in an atomic Starburst pattern. 🌟Beautiful vintage condition! This necklace shows a bit of wear, and age (light patina, scratching, a bit of stone clouding) but overall amazing gold color (which may actually be Gold plated) and Sparkle.
