1940s Antique Hand Crafted Prisoner Made Axe Splitting Log Wooden Figurine

Measures roughly 5” tall x 6” wide, and is in excellent vintage condition. This was hand made in the 1940s, by a prisoner at the large prison in Marquette, Michigan, and sold at the prison gift shop. Neat rustic outdoorsy bauble, with an interesting story/origin behind it. Sold as pictured.
