1940's An Elinor Lane Original Sz Small

Elegant 1940's black cocktail dress. Original Label attached, no fabric content tag. Appears to be rayon or creped rayon. Stunning crocheted lace on sleeve hems, on oversized layered chest bow, and on the peek a boo neckline. Hidden side zip. faux decorative attached half belt. Rouching down center gives slimming effect! Loose threads at the bottom of rouching but no hole starting, fabric is still tightly sewn together at seam. First picture is with my hand behind it pushing outward and second is of it just laying. Dryclean tag still attached. She is laundered and ready to rock. Some shiny spots, possibly from an iron but nothing to write home about! I purchased this at Miranda's Vintage Bridal in 2015, a boutique in Cleveland, OH.
